This back-to-school season, leave the Luncheables and commercial, packaged school lunches behind. Your children deserve better! This fall, make lunches and snacks fun, tasty and healthy. Your kids will never tire of these healthy lunchbox ideas, and you#039;ll love how fast they are to make (and how easy they fit into your budget).br /br /The key thing to look for in healthy, fast school lunches is for food that#039;s quick to put together, fun to eat, and small and portable. Buy what you need for the first day of school but donrsquo;t buy too much for the rest of the year. Some items, such as pencils and pens, might be useful to stock up on if there is a great sale. But since many stores overstock on items, you may actually be able to find some bargains by scanning for sales after the back to school rush is over.

Before the boom. Before $10 wax packs became normal. Before grading and authentication. If you remember those times, you might recall when card shows were called conventions. Collectors got together so infrequently and so informally, that#039;s what they were called. The Greater Boston Sports Collectors Club was formed in those times, a quaint early 1980s group that#039;s not only survived but changed very little throughout the last twenty-plus years.br /br /It started with just a handful of guys who used to meet informally at different houses. We collected cards, but we really just had fun and tossed out some trivia questions, President Bill Carvallho of Reading, MA told SportsCollectorsDaily.com in a phone interview. The number of us grew to where some of the wives weren#039;t real thrilled to have ten or fifteen guys in their living rooms. We decided we should probably rent a hall someplace. We grabbed the local Knights of Columbus Hall for $50. We spread the word and wound up with 46 or 47 guys signed up. Everyone chipped in a couple of bucks and that#039;s how the club got off the ground.nbsp;br /br /The club#039;s first meeting in April of 1985 proved that the card hobby was hot. It was unbelievable, Carvalho said. We had people lined up around the building. We decided it was time to have a bigger show. The first GBSCC show was held in November of #039;85 with guests Jim Lonborg and Dick Radatz signing free autographs. They#039;ve continued – just one per year – ever since. Typical attendance is about 4500, down from the hobby#039;s heyday in the 1990s, but not much. The club#039;s show has outlasted many of the bigger events that were once hobby staples but have disappeared from the radar screen.nbsp;br /br /We#039;re a non-profit group, said Carvalho, 69, who is the club#039;s first and only President. 4 of the 6 board members have been with us all 21 years. The other two have passed away. It#039;s a lot of work to put this show together and once per year works OK for us. GBSCC is a rarity. It still holds those regular meetings, where club members get together to discuss the hobby, have an auction and listen to a guest speaker. Over the years, Rico Petrocelli, George Scott and Johnny Pesky have accepted a modest stipend from the group and entertained 80-90 club members who typically attend the meetings, held nine times each year.nbsp;br /br /That#039;s what I really enjoy, said Carvalho. I#039;m not really a big autograph collector but the best memories are just sitting and talking with these guys while sharing a beverage or two. About fifteen years ago, we had Bob Feller and Bob Lemon in and they sat in the hotel lounge until about 2 in the morning just telling stories you#039;d never hear them tell anywhere else. And I know now why Feller threw the ball 100 miles an hour. His fingers are as long as Kielbasa. He just surrounded a baseball with those huge hands!nbsp;br /br /Another guest, a pitcher on the World Series Champion Baltimore Orioles in 1970, showed up without what Carvalho expected to see – -a World Series ring. He told us he was single back then and they had the option of choosing a ring or a color TV. He told us he took the TV.nbsp;br /br /The club#039;s total membership is nearly 300. It even publishes a newsletter every other month. Club members pitch in to help run the show while Dick Gordon Sports handles the autograph portion of the event. When the club began, annual dues were $10. They#039;ve increased since then. Now, the price is $12. This year#039;s show, held at the Shriner#039;s Auditorium in Wilmington, MA, November 3, 4 and 5 features autograph guests Frank Robinson, Juan Marichal and New England favorites Carl Yastrzemski, Bobby Doerr and Mel Parnell. 270 tables will be set up with dealers from throughout the eastern half of the country set up. We start preparing on Tuesday, Carvalho explained. We try to have very wide aisles so no one#039;s bumping into each other and we try to give the dealers some room behind their tables so they#039;re not cramped.

What I did today

1980#039;s television was very different than what television is today. Even though I do not enjoy the privilege of having spent much of my life in the 80#039;s, I have watched many sitcoms from that time period. I still consider some of those shows to be the greatest pieces of television ever produced.br /br /With shows like Different Strokes, Growing Pains, Alf, Threes Company, and The Cosby Show, the 80#039;s gave television audiences so many characters to fall in love with. In the 1980#039;s, TV wasn#039;t all reality shows and shows with characters most audiences can#039;t relate to. It was about family. The working class ruled primetime. Most of the situations characters in 1980#039;s television would deal with were normal instances that would happen to a normal person.br /br /Television continued to be like that through a lot of the 1990#039;s as well with shows like Saved by the Bell, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and Boy Meets World. But like most things in life, these types of shows got old and audiences grew out of them. Television shows of today have characters that are really fashionable, rich, powerful, and not ordinary at all.br /br /Television isn#039;t the same today as it was in the 80#039;s and that#039;s not totally a bad thing because once something gets old, people move on. The family sitcoms that made up TV back then have died out and any attempt to remake shows like those of the 80#039;s would just be something that audiences have seen over and over again. But just because these types of TV shows are old and we can#039;t remake them, it doesn#039;t mean that we can#039;t think back to the good times we had watching 80#039;s television.br /br /The most influential show on my life from the 1980#039;s is The Wonder Years. This statement isn#039;t only true for me and a few others, but it is the way most of the people that got the chance to watch this show feel about it. To me, the Wonder Years wasn#039;t just a TV show I used as entertainment. It was one of those outlets that I learned a lot of life lessons from. In my teenage years, the show was something that helped lessen the confusion of growing up. The Wonder Years is one of the best written and directed pieces of Television to date, because not only did the audience laugh and cry when they were supposed to, but they were so absorbed by the storyline that they felt as if they were a part of the characters lives. The situations the characters went through in the show were real life events that everyday people have been through, and that#039;s the main reason this is such an appealing show.br /br /The Wonder Years debuted on television in 1988 on ABC, and had five seasons through 1993. The plot of the show is set during the troubles of the late 1960#039;s to the 1970#039;s in a suburban town. Kevin Arnold, who is the main character of the show, goes through some of the most difficult times in life; his teenage years from age 13 to 18. The show is beautifully created in so many ways. It is a comedy, but it is different than other comedies of the time because it had no studio audience causing the show to have a sense of drama as well. The show is also made more interesting as the story is told through the memory of the adult Kevin Arnold, narrated by Daniel Stern.br /br /Kevin lives with his parents Jack and Norma (Dan Lauria and Alley Mills) and two siblings; a hippie older sister Karen (Olivia D#039;Abo), and a smart-alecky older brother Wayne (Jason Hervey). This was a family full of characters audiences were familiar with but still really interested in. Two other characters that have to be mentioned are Paul Pfeiffer (Josh Saviano), who was Kevin#039;s little nerdy best friend, and Gwendolyn Winnie Cooper (Danica McKellar), who was Kevin#039;s love interest and friend in the show. All these characters made the show as interesting as it was, and audiences couldn#039;t help but get caught up in their fictional lives.br /br /The Wonder Years is one of those shows that will be remembered forever by its audience. It made me laugh, feel, cry, and love the characters so much so that when I saw a rerun of the show on TV a few years back, I couldn#039;t help but forget what I was doing and watch as old memories dashed back in my brain and my stomach started churning in excitement as if I had seen an old best friend. The Wonder Years was such a powerful and bright show that I have to admit that I wouldn#039;t be as well learned in life#039;s lessons without it.br /br /In fact, I feel really bad for the people that have not experienced watching such an amazing sitcom. I suggest everyone that hasn#039;t watched it to give it a try and see if they like it because it might change their lives a little bit. I only wish now that the show would come out on DVD, because I would definitely play every episode for my kids. The only reason that it hasn#039;t come out on DVD so far is because of the problems they are having with the property rights of some of the music used in the show. Once that is fixed and the show is released on DVD, there will be high numbers of people buying it instantly.br /br /Shows like The Wonder Years are what made not only 80#039;s television so great but also the 1980#039;s altogether. When people think back to this show, they will remember the good times they had during such interesting years.br /br /Sources:br /br /http://www.askmen.com/top_10/entertainment/4b_top_10_list.htmlbr /br /http://www.imdb.com/

Great article I found

pI have written numerous articles and published them in article directories. I have also published two blog post for several weeks. You need more articles and blog post. After all the ideas of topics you a long time and now it seems that you#039;re exhausted just sit and look at the word processor to monitor a complete picture to appear. You write some other items that you need lots of ideas. Well coach, what should I do now. Let me try three things that flow of ideas. These three things are in front of you when you strike the keys right on your computer. 1. Amazon.com type in the address bar of your browser. What makes Amazon.com soa href=http://www.legalsteroidsforsale.org/ legal steroids for sale/a useful as a research tool for new ideas is the database of books. There are thousands of great ideas is that if you only know how to use. Find the search engine and books to choose from the menu. Enter your specialty or niche blog and look for books with the information contained in the title. Depending on thea href=http://steroids-for-sale.org/ steroids for sale/a results they could find the most important keywords. Your search could have listed hundreds of books on the subject. Browsing through a href=http://www.ebuysteroids.org/buy steroids/a the book and write as many ideas that are. You should have a long list. Change the string to say: Article Marketing on Bum Marketing will give a href=http://www.anabolicsteroidsforsale.org/anabolic steroids for sale/a more ideas. Look for the various subcategories of books written a href=http://www.benefitmakeupreviews.com/benefit makeup/a on the topic, identification of various themes, styles and types. 2. Visit your favorite forums for your area of interest. Check the items on a href=http://flexyourwallet.com/weight-benches/weight benches/a the post on the forum. The theme of the forum to bring a large range of participation a href=http://oliciouslife.com/figure-competition-coach-contest-prep-training/figure coach/a is about an article. One good thing about a forum with a long thread of comments a href=http://flexyourwallet.com/discount supplements/a is that a lot of your research topic is to write the article in to post a comment. I am not advocating plagiarism for the content. While reading the comments and notes is not plagiarism. I think that in general is very interesting and instructive. I usually end spend more time reading forum posts and comments, which I had expected. What is the time I wanted something else to do eliminated. In general, there are several forums in their area of interest. Search in various forums, not only offers more ideas fora href=http://happyfatgirl.com/showthread.php?t=68 plus size swimwear/a stories, but it could also be additional research material for your articles. In addition, there is a whole education. 3. Visit a popular article directory. Ezineartilces seems a very popular directory. There are other great article directories with a href=http://flexyourwallet.com/legal-steroids-for-sale-anavar-winstrol-dianabol/legal steroids for sale/a an Internet search can be found. Item lists files into categories. Find the category of your interest and look at the recent deposit. Check the categories of products related items is still available. Note that you do not want to copy the title of the article. Would you like some ideas. See the titles of articles may have ideas on how to build your section titles. I mean, above all, what are the titles of How, 5 Ways, easy and fun, etc. These three idea-generators under article is used by many authors of articles. They are also issues that are of current interest. A book with a subject line drawing by writing about a topic of current interest in Head Start in the marketing of your article./ppnbsp;/pp

Daily Thoughts

br /br /LOVE WORKS DAILY – READERS RESPOND #1 – Amy, Jenifer, Tonya amp; Mark (from 2002) br /br /Over the years, many of you have written in with your thoughts br /br /and feelings regarding LOVE WORKS DAILY and about specific br /br /essays that I have published. br /br /I am reprinting some of these comments as I think they help br /br /to show the bigger picture of LOVE WORKS DAILY. br /br /These essays are not just about Tim Henry and what he has to br /br /say but also about it#039;s readers. In truth, the readers (that#039;s br /br /you) are the most important part of this endeavor. br /br /Love does really work if you give it a chance. br /br /If you have a comment or idea, be sure to post a comment, or email me. br /br /These letters meant ALOT to me. I cannot say how much they meant br /br /and mean. br /br /So here is a selection of the best of READERS RESPOND…Enjoy br /br /and Thanks!!! br /br /Tim! br /br /Happy Vacation! I hope you have lots of Ramp;R and loads of love and FUN… br /br /and… NAPS!! An author named SARK that I read often says that the more br /br /naps we take the more prosperous we are. I#039;ll buy that! What a great br /br /recipe for success! br /br /I look forward to reading the Classic LOVE WORKS. As a relatively new br /br /subscriber, it will all be new to me! Well… new LOVE WORKS but a time br /br /honored message. Thank you for being a messenger at this time and place. br /br /We all need to hear and be reminded of the choice we face from moment to br /br /moment. Just about everything is a choice between love and fear. At least br /br /that is how it looks in my life. Fear is at the root of most of my br /br /negative emotions. Anger?? … yep…masking fear. Jealousy?? … br /br /yep…always fear. Judgement?? … yep… no question that is fear. br /br /Rejection, abandonment, anxiety, insecurity… yep yep yep… fear. br /br /So… for today… I choose love. I honor ALL my feelings… but I want to br /br /my actions in life to reflect a loving heart and mind rather than a wounded, br /br /fearful one. When faced with any situation both dealing with myself, br /br /another person, or an inanimate object… What would a loving person do br /br /here? is a great question to ask myself to get a better perspective on how br /br /to act…rather than react to my world. br /br /Have a great time off! Take care and love to you and yours! br /br /amy :) br /br /Tim, br /br /Wow, you#039;ve done some really deep thinking and I#039;m br /br /impressed with your conclusions. I think we all hold br /br /pain from our past in, in some ways. The trick is br /br /realizing when you#039;re doing it. 14 years ago my br /br /brother died, who was my best friend and my father all br /br /in one. It was a complete shock and one I#039;ve yet br /br /recovered from as well. I think it affects my br /br /relationships with those I love to this day. I think br /br /I may be subconsciously afraid that anyone I love will br /br /also be taken from me. Instead of being afraid to br /br /love, it makes me sometimes paranoid and afraid when I br /br /shouldn#039;t be. Last week my husband and babies drove br /br /all night long to go to Oregon (to see you). Granted br /br /it was winter time and there are mountains to cross. br /br /But the weather was mostly fine. Yet the entire week I br /br /had this sick feeling of certainty they were never br /br /coming back. I didn#039;t enjoy my little vacation at br /br /all. Now being aware of the problem is most of the br /br /answer, but in the future I#039;ll have to endeavor to br /br /learn to trust a bit more and think more rationally. br /br /Wish me luck! br /br /Thanks for writing again. br /br /Jenifer br /br /Wow, now those are some thoughts to get one thinking! br /br /I#039;ve never heard it put quite that way. I know I#039;ve br /br /thought a lot this year about priorities since having br /br /babies. I think my family is my biggest priority, but br /br /I spend a lot of time at home each night trying to get br /br /work done for the next day. And how often do I call br /br /my sister, who is close to the most important person br /br /in my world? Maybe 4 times a week, but I could do br /br /more. And what about all the other family that means br /br /so much? I get so wrapped up in surviving, I don#039;t br /br /take enough time by far to do the important things. br /br /Thanks for making me think today, Tim! br /br /Jenifer br /br /Hi. Just thought I would chime in about priorities in life. br /br /I have also had the misfortune to guestion my priorities br /br /in my work invironment. My position was in management and br /br /I work with adult who have special needs. I have br /br /( had — I chose to get out of management– )a job br /br /description and job duties and extra job duties and last minute br /br /favors and emergency meetings and, ..and….. But my conflict br /br /was when my duties were not the priorities of the people I br /br /was supporting. Do I forget the report due next week because br /br /someone needs me to talk and reassure them or just needs me br /br /to take them out. Do I get the write up because I didn#039;t turn br /br /in my budget on time or do I get it done and take away time br /br /from those I support or time away from my family by finishing br /br /it while at home? Big decisions which caused me great br /br /conflict within myself and conflict with those around me br /br /…including my family. Luckily, I have Tim who was able br /br /to work me through alot of my old programming. I see where br /br /my priorities lie now. But sometimes I still need to sit br /br /down and debate with myself (and Tim on occassion) which br /br /is really a priority and which is really a guilt ridden decision. br /br /And sometimes my priorities loose out. br /br /Tonya br /br /Hello Tim, br /br /I hope this e-mail find you well and in good spirits. br /br /I have really enjoyed reading your Love Works Daily. br /br /I would like some history. How long have you been br /br /authoring the newsletter? Are you actually authoring br /br /the newsletter? I have created a file to save them br /br /and have used the content to enrich my managers in our br /br /weekly meetings. I have always been an individual br /br /that enjoys reading uplifting material. We are inundated br /br /every day with so many negative thoughts and phrases. I recall br /br /hearing just the other day that children hear over 400 br /br /negative statements in an average day compared to only 32 br /br /positive comments. Can you imagine the effect of a young br /br /mind constantly receiving a negative message! br /br /Thanks again for your inspirational thoughts. Keep up br /br /the good work! br /br /Take care and Love to you today! br /br /Mark br /br /#169;2005 Timothy Henry
